TABITHA leacock - The Woman Behind the Brand
A passion for quality, colour and timeless style — and a deep commitment to helping women over 40 feel their most confident, beautiful and assured.
My name is Tabitha Leacock, and I have spent the better part of my adult life in love with style — not as a superficial pursuit, but as a language. A way of communicating to you who I am, what I value and how I choose to show up in the world.
I was born in Berkshire, England and raised in Barbados. At 19 years old, I made the bold decision to move to my homeland. It was one of the most significant chapters of my life — and one of the first things I did after I arrived, was enrol at my local College, where I studied fashion and dressmaking for a full year and earned my City and Guilds Certificate in Dressmaking. As part of my final project, I independently sourced all of my own materials and crafted a tailored office work suit entirely from a pattern (picture below). That suit represented something far greater than a qualification. It represented an early understanding that great style begins with precise construction — with knowing how a garment is made, how it should fit, and why quality always endures.
That foundation has never left me.
WHY I DO THIS WORK
I started TABITHA LEACOCK — my premium personal styling brand — because I believe, with absolute conviction, that every woman over 40 deserves to feel seen, celebrated and completely at home in her own skin.
I have a passion for quality clothing, beautiful accessories and timeless fabrics that transcend seasons and trends. I am fascinated by the power of colour — by how the right shade can transform a complexion, lift a mood, project authority or communicate warmth. I am endlessly inspired by the creativity of personal style and the infinite ways it can be used to honour a woman's individuality.
But above all, I am driven by people. By the moment a woman looks in the mirror and truly sees herself — perhaps for the first time in years. By the shift in posture, the brightness in the eyes, the glow on her face, the quiet certainty that settles over someone, when they finally feel like themselves.
That moment is why I do this work.
WHAT I BRING TO YOU
First and foremost a deep love for the transformative power of Style - colour, quality, sophisticated elegance, creative, classy.
I have 20 years of customer-focused experience across business and client services, combined with formal training in fashion and dressmaking, which gives my approach to personal styling, a quality that is both deeply human and rigorously structured. I do not simply tell you what to wear. I help you understand why it works, how it serves you, and how to use that knowledge to style yourself with confidence for the rest of your life.
My background in business administration means I bring organisation, clarity and professionalism to every client relationship. My Barbadian and Vincentian heritage brings warmth, vibrancy and a celebration of colour that is entirely my own. And my years of working closely with people from all walks of life means I know how to listen — truly listen — to what a woman needs.
I work with calm elegance, honest guidance and genuine care. Every client I work with feels respected, understood and completely supported throughout our time together.
my STYLE values
Quality over quantity, always. I believe in fewer, better things — in clothes that are well made, carefully chosen, cared for and loved. Premium quality clothing is the most sustainable wardrobe choice you can make.
Colour as confidence. I believe the right colours are transformative — not just aesthetically, but emotionally and psychologically.
Style as self-expression. I believe your wardrobe should reflect who you truly are — not who others expect you to be, but who you are right now and who you are becoming.
Individuality above all. I do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. I believe in you — your specific shape, your unique colouring, your particular life — and I tailor everything I do to honour that.
A PERSONAL NOTE:
Being a woman over 40 is not a limitation. It is an arrival. You have lived, learned, grown and evolved. You know yourself in ways your younger self could not have imagined. My work is purely to help your outer world reflect that extraordinary inner truth — with elegance, warmth and complete confidence.
I would be honoured to be part of your journey.
